History of Essity

In 2017, SCA split into two separate companies: one focusing on forestry (which retained the SCA name) and the other specializing in hygiene and health products, which became Essity. The name 'Essity' is derived from 'essentials' and 'necessities,' reflecting the company's commitment to providing essential hygiene and health solutions.
