History of Resinex
Resinex, established in 1988, began as a distributor of polypropylene for Shell in Belgium. Over the years, it has expanded its operations across Europe, Turkey, and the Former Soviet Union (FSU), becoming the sole polymer supplier covering all these regions. The company offers a comprehensive portfolio of products, including commodity plastics, engineering plastics, rubbers, elastomers, bioplastics, and masterbatches. Resinex has developed a robust sales, logistics, and purchasing structure, partnering with leading petrochemical companies to meet diverse customer needs.
In 2002, Resinex underwent a rebranding, adopting the name 'Resin Express' as part of a reorganization of distribution activities within its parent company, Ravago. This change aimed to unify the company's distribution operations under a single brand across Europe.
In December 2022, Resinex acquired CoSeMa, a company founded in 1986 and specialized in manufacturing lanterns and electronic devices for navigational aids. This acquisition allowed Resinex to broaden its product range and strengthen its position in the marine equipment sector.
Today, Resinex continues to be a leading distributor in the plastics and rubbers market, committed to sustainability and digital innovation. The company emphasizes responsible business practices and strives to transform the raw material buying experience for its customers.
