History of Jarritos
Jarritos is a popular Mexican soft drink brand founded in 1950 by Don Francisco 'El Güero' Hill in Mexico City. The name Jarritos, meaning 'little jugs' in Spanish, was inspired by the traditional clay jugs used to serve beverages in Mexico. The brand started with coffee-flavored soda but quickly gained popularity with its innovative fruit flavors, using natural ingredients and real cane sugar.
By the 1980s, Jarritos became Mexico's best-selling soft drink and expanded internationally, particularly in the United States, where it became a staple in Hispanic communities. Known for its vibrant flavors like tamarind, mango, and pineapple, Jarritos remains a symbol of Mexican culture and tradition. Today, it is distributed in over 40 countries, maintaining its reputation for authentic taste and high-quality ingredients.
