History of Seven Seas

The Seven Seas brand, currently owned by Procter & Gamble, has a rich history that spans over a century. It began in 1935 when Harold Butler and his team of researchers developed a pure cod liver oil product in Hull, England. This product soon became the cornerstone of the brand, known for its high-quality nutritional supplements. Over the decades, Seven Seas expanded its product range to include a variety of vitamins, minerals, and other nutritional supplements.

In 1973, Seven Seas was acquired by the Dutch company N.V. Koninklijke Zwanenberg-Organon. This acquisition helped the brand expand globally, making it a well-known name in the health and wellness sector. Later, in 1986, Seven Seas was acquired by the American pharmaceutical giant Warner-Lambert, further boosting its global presence.

In 2000, Procter & Gamble acquired Warner-Lambert, thus bringing Seven Seas under its umbrella. Today, Seven Seas continues to be a trusted brand offering a wide range of nutritional supplements to support health and wellbeing across various age groups. Its legacy of quality and innovation in the field of health supplements has made it a household name in many countries around the world.
