History of Primo Water

Primo Water was founded in 2004 in the United States with a focus on providing purified bottled water through an eco-friendly, refillable water dispenser system. The company introduced a business model that encouraged consumers to reuse water bottles by refilling them at retail locations, reducing plastic waste. Over time, Primo Water expanded its product offerings to include bottled water, self-service refill stations, and dispensers for home and office use.

In 2020, Primo Water merged with Cott Corporation, a leading provider of water solutions, to form a unified company under the Primo Water brand. This transformation shifted the company's focus entirely to the water industry, providing hydration solutions across North America and Europe. Today, Primo Water operates a large network of water delivery services, vending stations, and filtration systems, promoting sustainable and convenient access to clean drinking water.
