History of ARCON
ARCON is a Mumbai-based cybersecurity company with a unique founding story that began in London. The
Mumbai based company was incorporated in London in 2006 with its research and development center in
Mumbai. The company was founded by Anil Bhandari, who is now the Chief Mentor of ARCON and has been
recognized as an inspired innovator, technologist and thought leader in the Information-Risk
Management area. By profession, he is a Chartered Accountant but his core area of interest has
always been Enterprise-wide Risk Management. From its humble beginnings in 2006 in London where it
was founded, and later in 2008 when the HQ was changed to Mumbai, ARCON has come a long way.
ARCON started as a technology company specializing in risk control solutions with a focus on what
would become its signature approach of 'Predict, Protect, Prevent.' The company initially
established itself as a provider of information security solutions with a particular emphasis on
enterprise risk management. Over the years, ARCON evolved its focus to become a leading provider of
Privileged Access Management and Identity and Access Management solutions, developing what they call
a Converged Identity Platform.
Today, ARCON has grown significantly from its early days and is
recognized as a globally established leader in information security and enterprise risk control. The
company has deployed its enterprise-class risk mitigating solutions to over 900 global organizations
and now employs more than 700 people worldwide. ARCON has received numerous accolades including
being featured in The Times of India as one of the Most Innovative Companies in India 2024, and its
founder Anil Bhandari being named among 'Emerging Business Leaders of India: 2024' by The Economic
Times. The company continues to operate from its headquarters in Mumbai while serving clients
globally with its comprehensive cybersecurity solutions.
