History of Aerospike
Aerospike was founded in 2009 by Brian Bulkowski and Srini Srinivasan with the vision of building a
high-performance, scalable NoSQL database that could meet the demands of modern data-driven
applications. The company launched its database to address the limitations of traditional databases
in handling real-time big data workloads. It focused on delivering extremely low latency and high
throughput, especially for use cases like ad tech, fraud prevention, and recommendation engines.
